I once asked
a friend
“For how
long can we be friends? ”
Then came
the reply;
“For as long
as we want? ”
Then a
thought was strengthened in my heart:
The end of
this friendship is not in sight
Yet, that’s
not a guarantee it will last till eternity
We’ve to
fight for it.
No one knows
How long any
friendship will last
Even the
parties involved may not have an answer
Yet they’re
the parties concerned, the major stakeholders.
Parties
involved must be willing to make it last
Self must
continually be submerged
Pride must
not be a welcome guest
And above
all, maturity should be given the lord.
Friendship
is for both parties
And not a
one man business
You both
have to be willing to pay the sacrifice
Your
sacrifices determine the life span of the friendship
